Staff Announcements:
1. Staff meeting Wednesday 8:15 in the library. Staff should bring their red emergency books to the meeting.
2. Renaissance Meeting 8:15 Thursday, Oct. 3rd in room 53.

Student Announcements:
Join Girl Scouts today! Girl Scouts of the Rio Grande will meet today, September 30th at 5:30. For more information go by the office to pick up a flyer.
Student Council members, please go by Mrs. Kiser’s room to pay for your shirts this week. Also, Student Council has a meeting Friday, during advisory in Mrs. Kiser’s room.
FFA begins their fundraiser tomorrow selling Christmas wreaths. They are fresh and beautiful! Let’s support FFA by buying a wreath.

Sports:
1. To all 6th & 7th grade girls and boys. This Saturday will be a volleyball fun day held at different schools depending on your grade level. If you wish to participate in this extramural volleyball event this week please see Mrs. Montano sometime today.

1. Staff, students should begin turning in money today. Mrs. Martinez and Mr. Sabo will go around to advisory classes to pick up packets. We appreciate your help with collecting money. Please make sure the students have their first and last names on the envelope, advisory teacher’s name, amount in the envelope, and the number of items sold. Thank you so much.

Also, on Tuesday is the Parents Reaching Out -PRO Meeting in the cafeteria from 6:30-8:00.

Sports:
1. Today, Sept 26th Montano’s team plays Vista. The game will be here at home @ 6:15 tonight. The winner of this game will go on to play for the championship Saturday morning at 10:30 at Sierra. Good luck Ladies! We’d love another trophy in our trophy case!
2. Next dual match for tennis is tonight at 7pm against Vista Middle School at Lion's Park. Good luck!

1. Staff, a suggestion for September on the Secret Pals is to give something to help your pal “labor” through the new school year. Remember, even the smallest gesture shows you care! A can of sprite, a bag of candy, an angel pin, a note of appreciation can really brighten your pal’s day or week.
